16, 2012 - 5:30-8:30pm Dec. 15, 2011 –The 2011 Youth Entrepreneurship Forum, presented by Frist Federal at College of Charleston School of Business was a terrific success! Junior Achievement and the College of Charleston Student in Free Enterprise (SIFE) collaborated to empower 80+ visiting high school students with lessons from JA Titan®, JA Be Entrepreneurial®, and JA Personal Finance® A video summary of the event will be published here soon. Nov. 14-18, 2011 – Over 1000 students in 52 4th & 5th grade classrooms in Beaufort County were empowered to own their economic success by JA Volunteers thanks to the vision of Town of Bluffton Mayor Lisa Sulka and Beaufort County Schools Superintendent Dr. Valarie Truesdale, and support from the following JA Champions: First Federal, Palmetto Electric Coop, Omega Graphics, and Rotary Club of the Lowcountry. Nov. 3-4, 2011 - Dorchester County Career and Technical School completed a 2 day event utilizing JA's Turn-Key curriculum.
