Junior Achievement provides volunteer training which lasts approximately 20 -
45 min. The JA staff schedules both group and one-on-one training sessions to accommodate the volunteer’s
schedule. The training covers specific program curriculum information as well as classroom management and
teaching tips.

Time Commitment
Junior Achievement provides educational programs from kindergarten through high school. The time
commitment for a JA volunteer varies based on the length of the program in which you are
participating:
Elementary School Programs:
Five lessons from 35 to 45 mins each (based on age of
children)
Middle Grade Programs:
Six lessons, 45-50 mins each
High School Programs:
Five to Eight lessons of 50-55 mins each depending on the JA
